The best creative brief ever?
NeilFriday, October 16, 2009
We think this could be the best creative brief ever.
Below is a letter from Mick Jagger to Andy Warhol in 1969, thanking him for agreeing to design what would become one of the most popular album covers of all time, Sticky Fingers. It featured Joe Dallesandro's crotch, complete with workable zip and was also the first to feature the band's tongue and lips logo. In the letter, Jagger warns Warhol of possible production problems he might encounter when designing the album – something he completely disregarded and produced a cover that caused all sorts of problems, most notably scratching the record itself and any placed in front of it in record shops.
Captial FM Jingle Bell Ball
NeilWednesday, October 14, 2009
Capital FM have just announced a second date for their charity concert, The Jingle Bell Ball, a two date event to be held at the O2 Arena in London on 5 and 6 December. Lady GaGa, Lily Allen, Noisettes, Pixie Lott and Sugababes are just some of the acts confirmed so far to perform. For this event we're teaming up with Karmarama to promote the event and give the O2 a christmas makeover.
The Ball will raise money for London's needy children. It is supporting Capital's flagship charity, Help A London Child, with a donation being made from the proceeds of the event.
