The best creative brief ever?
NeilFriday, October 16, 2009
We think this could be the best creative brief ever.
Below is a letter from Mick Jagger to Andy Warhol in 1969, thanking him for agreeing to design what would become one of the most popular album covers of all time, Sticky Fingers. It featured Joe Dallesandro's crotch, complete with workable zip and was also the first to feature the band's tongue and lips logo. In the letter, Jagger warns Warhol of possible production problems he might encounter when designing the album – something he completely disregarded and produced a cover that caused all sorts of problems, most notably scratching the record itself and any placed in front of it in record shops.

ScrewyThursday, March 5, 2009
We recently designed all the promotional material and packaging for the Larder Lunch, a new lunch spot down at the Hilton London Tower Bridge. Having visited the joint last week we were impressed to see everything in action. We even wrote the wall menu (we never knew our Lisa had those sign writing skills!). As for the food, the takeaway salad gets the Social thumbs up.
